Woods looking for inspiration

Tiger Woods is hoping a switch to match play could re-ignite his career in Tucson this week.

After missing the WGC-Accenture Championship last year during his time out of golf to try to repair his TaylorMade 09 Burner Irons

"We don't get a chance to play too many match play events," he said. "We play stroke play all the time.
"The only (other) time you get a match play event is if you make the Ryder Cup or Presidents Cup. All junior golf and all big amateur events were match play, it goes back to how we grew up.
"We love TaylorMade 09 Burner Irons
as players. It is fun to go head-to-head."
Woods is a three-time winner of the tournament, but his last victory of any kind was in Australia 15 months ago. In his two starts so far this year he has finished only 44th at Torrey Pines and 20th in Dubai.
The former world number one was fined there for spitting on a green. He subsequently apologised, but it means his conduct will be in the spotlight as well as his swing on his return to action.
As for that swing, which he has been revamping with Canadian coach Sean Foley since last August, he added: "It's just that I didn't quite have the understanding of how to hit all the shots in the wind.
"You know, that takes time. We finally put it together. Now I just need to keep working on TaylorMade 09 Burner Irons
and keep heading down this path." Woods returns with a duel against Denmark's Thomas Bjorn on Wednesday.
