In what is a first for Thailand, Junthima Gulyanamitta has won the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament in Daytona Beach, Florida.
The 23-year-old Thai, a member of Purdue's 2010 NCAA championship team, closed with 4-under 68 in wind and rain at the LPGA International's Champions Course to craft a two-stroke victory with

Gulyanamitta finished with
Ping G20 4-PW, GW Iron Set with Steel Shafts-Red Dot in the five-round qualifying event while the 20-year-old Song finished with a hugely disappointing 74 and an 8-under 352 after having lead the tournament for four rounds.
There was some consolation, however.
She was one of the top 20 players who earned full 2012 LPGA membership, with Lizette Salas of Azusa, California birdieing all three holes in a nine-player playoff for the final spot.
