The Africom Zimbabwe Open has been reduced to 54 holes with the third and final round scheduled for Sunday after persistent rain and a waterlogged golf course forced play to be suspended on Saturday.
This after the delayed second round was completed with 68 players making the
TaylorMade R11 Fairway Wood and going through to the third and final round at Royal Harare Golf Club on Sunday.
First round leader Theunis Spangenberg, who was able to compete his second round on Friday with a 67, was still the leader on 13-under par with Darryn Lloyd in second on 11-under when play was suspended .
Deane Pappas is alone in third on 10-under par with defending champion Jbe' Kruger a further two shots back.
